Assemble Your Crew!

With a crew of up to 5 brave teammates, you'll dive into a series of IT, programming, and logic puzzles — all hiding those elusive little text strings we call flags.

This year, you can take part in one of two tracks. Both tracks share the same core tasks, but your choice determines your final day and prizes.

Remote Track In-Person Track
Competes online from anywhere on Earth (or beyond).

This is for those unable to meet us and do all the IRL tasks available on the last day of MCTF.
For those who can join us in Riga, Latvia for the full experience.

On the final day, you'll face exclusive on-site challenges that can only be cracked in person — plus a chance to win exclusive Mārtiņa merch, sponsor loot, and bragging rights.

When & Where

Mark your calendars for November 21st–23rd, 2025 — three days of isolated cyber madness.

You’ll spend 48 hours conquering challenges on CTFd, where every task is yours to attack in any order, at any time. The first two days are fully remote, so join our Discord to connect, chat, and get all the info you need along the way.

Then, on November 23rd, it all leads to the in-person finale in Latvia Riga (venue TBA) — featuring exclusive on-site challenges you can’t solve from behind a screen. Remote players can keep hacking online, but the boldest will meet IRL to prove their skills on the ground.

The Secret of Prizes

Treasure still glimmers in the digital ruins — and those brave (or foolish) enough to dig through the wreckage just might find it.

Every participant earns their mark in the archives of Mārtiņa–CTF 2025, but those who rise above the rest? They’ll walk away with more than glory — expect digital certificates, Discord fame, and sponsor loot worthy of a modern-day scavenger.

And for those daring enough to join the in-person finale in Riga… let’s just say the real-world rewards are a little more tangible.

Some relics are better left unspoiled — the full prize list stays sealed until the end.

Kickoff Stream 📢

The challenge kicks off on November 21st with an intro livestream — a mix of countdown, Q&A, and hype session to get everyone synced before the clock starts ticking. Tune in, ask your last-minute questions, and count down to the digital mayhem with us live on YouTube.

Get your snacks, your setup, and your sanity ready — after this, it’s 48 hours of beautiful chaos.

Are you ready to dive into the depths of digital decay, where lost data hides and forgotten flags wait to be found? Grab your teammates, your wits, and your caffeine — the lost are waiting to be found, and the Mārtīna–CTF 2025 legends are yet to be written.

Other Important Things!

TASK SUBMISSION

As you prepare for the event, you might be wondering about the process for submitting flags. All the possible tasks, their description, and submission forms are displayed on the CTFd platform (we made our own instance, open source projects are AMAZING!). It's also the platform we will be judging you all on >:D

Create your team profile with your team's credentials and GO HACK! Task and Flag submission platform: hyperlink will be announced in Discord server.

COMMUNICATION

We use Discord as our primary communication platform. It's where all participants or at least one from each team are expected to be found.

Join our Discord server to stay updated, interact with other participants, get live event notifications, and, in case of any technical difficulties, contact organizers.
